Haraguchi is a member of the Genshiken but rarely attends meetings at the clubroom. When he does show up, it's usually bad news. He belongs to both the Manga Society and Anime Society but has not paid his dues for either group. He is known as "Haraguro" by those who know him, and he is widely disliked by all members of the three societies. Although he is connected with semi-professional manga artists, few are willing to speak out against him publicly due to his intimidating nature.
