Banri is a university student studying business while also being the drummer for the band Argonavis. Although he values efficiency and dislikes waste, he brings high energy and positive vibes to the group. He is frugal but not greedy, always looking for ways to help the band succeed. His family's dairy farm is in debt, so he joined Argonavis with the goal of earning money and rebuilding it. As a child, Banri played taiko and used his experience to showcase his powerful drumming skills, which helped him land a spot in the band despite his height and stature.
