Ryuusui grew up in the Nanami Corp, a multibillion-dollar corporation known as the largest name in marine shipping. From an early age, he was fascinated with model ships and spent his 100 million yen allowance on building them. By middle school, he began captaining his own ship and traveled around the world. However, when Ryuusui turned 13, his allowance was reduced to 1 million yen. To increase his wealth, he used his remaining funds and family reputation to invest in the stock market. This allowed him to buy expensive clothes, hire a personal trainer, and win a dodgeball tournament. Although he enjoyed racing video games, he was refused entry into a virtual reality center due to being underage. As a result, Ryuusui built his own race track for personal use.
