Initially, The Awesome Ones are hesitant about using Bakugan for monetary purposes but ultimately decide to participate in the league as a means of sending a message. During the competition, Dan battles China Riot, resulting in unintended consequences and causing harm to the crowd due to the danger involved. Consequently, The Awesome Ones end the battle and convey their disapproval of Everett Ray's ideas by stating that Bakugan should never be utilized for financial gain.
