A physician rescued Shogo from law enforcement officials and escorted him to her secluded mountain dwelling. She aimed to mend his emotional wounds by teaching him how to run marathons. However, she eventually developed feelings for him. Her former spouse attempted to lure her back multiple times until she saved Shogo from a perilous cliff fall. Tragically, she plummeted down the mountain and became blind. Before passing away, she confessed her love to Shogo. In the final pages of chapter five, she was depicted as the deity in his prophetic visions.
