A courteous young man who consistently maintains a smile on his face is Yuzuru, the diligent attendant to first-year student Tori Himemiya. Despite being constantly dominated by Tori's self-centeredness, he laments this situation. With the support of the Himemiya family, he enrolled in the academy with the primary purpose of serving as Tori's chaperone. Although he is not a member of the student council, he frequently assists Tori and the vice president, Keito Hasumi, values his skills more than Tori does. However, Yuzuru is not skilled at drawing. Tori has a dog as a pet, but Yuzuru dislikes dogs.
