Mr. 3, ギャルディーノ
A self-proclaimed brilliant strategist named Mr. 3 claims that his plans are flawless and has been tasked with eliminating the Straw Hat Pirates. He decides to claim the bounty on giants Dorry and Broggy instead, after eating the Doru Doru no Mi (Wax Wax Fruit) which grants him the ability to produce molten wax from any body part. Despite this power, he cannot transform himself into wax. Mr. 3 sabotages a sacred battle between the giants, captures Vivi, Nami, and Zoro, and creates a giant spinning wax cake using his devil fruit abilities. The goal is for the three to be slowly encased in wax and eventually suffocate to death, while also creating human wax statues for Mr. 3, who admits he struggles with making perfect figures himself. In the end, Mr. 3 and three other Baroque Works Officer Agents, including Miss Goldenweek, Mr. 5, and Miss Valentine's Day, are defeated.
After the defeat, he is then send to the impel down, to be held captives in the second level of Impel down. When Luffy attempt to save Ace, Luffy met him after Buggy the clown on the way to level 5 where Ace is held. Luffy freed him thinking naively he is going to help him save Ace with him. But Mr. 3 had other plans; his escape plan with Buggy prioritizes more than Luffys mission after all. He also deems Luffys mission impossible.
