The manager at Meiwa Daiichi joined for the purpose of being nearer to Hideo, but despite her efforts, she couldn't achieve this goal because of his loyalty towards Hikari. She tried repeatedly to separate them, yet all attempts were unsuccessful. Eventually, she collaborated with Kine in an attempt to break up Hideo and Hikari. As a result of their scheming, both Miho and Kine drew closer to each other. It's worth noting that Miho does not appear in the anime.
