The Corpse God is a powerful necromancer who seeks reincarnation to find peace after death. He takes on the body of Polka Shinoyama, a recently deceased teenager from Japan, to avoid detection by church soldiers seeking to destroy him. To blend in, he adopts Polka's original style and appearance. Although Corpse God is level-headed and calm, he can also be flustered, agitated, hesitant, and chatty in certain situations. Despite the prejudices of church affiliates towards him, Corpse God remains a composed individual.
