The protagonist of the story is a 13-year-old boy who spends his summer vacation at his grandfather's house. When he first met Arashi, they formed a bond through physical contact, which granted them the ability to travel between time periods. The boy is attracted to Arashis appearance and personality, but feels hesitant to express his feelings towards her.
