Denji  

Chainsaw, デンジ

As a child, Denji inherits financial obligations from his father who was involved with the Yakuza. Later, after encountering Pochita, he takes up the role of a Devil Hunter for the organization in an effort to pay off his debt. However, when the Yakuza betrays him and is under the control of a malevolent Devil, Denji passes away. Pochita then becomes his spirit and gains the power to transform into a Chainsaw Devil by pulling on a cord attached to his chest. Following this, Denji meets Makima and decides to become a Public Safety Devil Hunter in order to protect others from the dangers posed by supernatural beings.
