Lord Sigurd, Siglud, シグルド

Lord Sigurd is a prince from Chalphy Castle in the Kingdom of Grannvale, located at the center of the continent of Jugdral. He descends from Baldo, one of the Twelve Crusaders. Initially, he wields the Steel Sword but later uses the Silver Sword (given by Arvis on behalf of Prince Kurth), and finally the Tyrfing in Chapter 5. His younger sister is Ethlyn, and his brother-in-law and best friend is Quan, who also marries Ethlyns husband Seliph, who takes over as prince after Sigurd in Chapter 6. According to the end of Chapter 6, Sigurd was highly respected among the people of Jugdral. Oifey refers to him as a "kindhearted man" when he rescues Shanan at Genoa Castle in Chapter 1. Mananan, father of Prince Shanan from Isaac's kingdom, sought advice from Vylon, Sigurd's father. Since Chapter 3, Sigurd has been accused of treason against Grannvale by his own people.
