In Digimon Xros Wars, Apollo Mon is known as the Sun-wheel Death General of Bright Land. Although he's the strongest among his kind, unlike others, he doesn't share Bagramons destructive aspirations. His actions are influenced by Whispered, a crack program that controls him while he appears to be a Death General on the surface. In reality, Apollo Mon has a heart of justice and imprisoned many weak Digimon to protect them and keep them alive. For every Digimon he harmed this way, he inflicted a wound on his right arm until it became unusable, which he accepted as atonement for his sins. After meeting Taiki and gaining the trust of Xros Hearts, Apollo Mon was turned evil into Apollomon Whispered, forcing Taiki to battle him. Despite being defeated, he later returned in the Land Of Souls, sacrificing himself to save Taiki and the other Xros Hearts members sent there.
