Clair is a Pegasus Knight from Zofia who is younger than her brother Clive and grew up with Fernand as a childhood friend. Despite opposition, she joined the Deliverance and was eventually accepted as a knight by asking for permission from her father. She was later captured by Desaix's men and held captive until Alm and Lukas rescued her. Afterward, Clair rejoined the Deliverance to fight alongside her brother and others against Desaix. In Gaiden, she has a crush on Alm, joking that he was the one she truly wanted when Gray won her over. However, in Shadows of Valentia, their relationship is expanded and generally portrayed as platonic by Alms. Clair becomes close friends with both Gray and Tobin, causing some tension between them. Ultimately, she chooses to marry Gray after the war ends.
