Merric is a character from the Archanea series of Fire Emblem who goes by the nickname "Wind Mage" due to his weapon of choice, Excalibur, which he uses during the War of Shadows. He's an Altean noble and studies magic under Wendell in Khadein. Additionally, he grew up alongside Prince Marth and Princess Elice, with whom he is romantically involved. His appearance resembles that of mages throughout the Fire Emblem series.
