Beate is the granddaughter of a wealthy advertiser. Initially, she's seen running in her grandfather's castle to escape ghouls pursuing her. Her objective was to locate a vampire as she has an obsession with the supernatural. Later, Sirius saves her from a vampire and they share a kiss, suggesting a possible crush on him. Afterward, Beate funds Sirius' organization and acts as his partner or observer, as described by his boss.
