The main antagonist in Part 7 is named Funny Valentine. He served as the twenty-third president of the United States. His objective during the Steel Ball Run race is to gather the fragments of Jesus Christ's body scattered across the country. To achieve this, he will employ both ethical and unethical tactics, including dispatching assassins to eliminate Gyro in order to obtain the Saints' remains. Prior to his presidency, Funny Valentine was a soldier who was released from service following torture during war. He bears scars resembling the Stars and Stripes on his back.
