The teacher in question is often portrayed as uncaring about his job or his students. He frequently uses Kawai as a scapegoat when things go wrong, even when confronted with evidence of this behavior by Yuusuke. Despite being confronted with this, he continues to try and expel Kawai, going so far as to give her a necklace that was confiscated from her in the hopes that she would attack someone else to get it back. His lowest moment came when he poured ink all over Kawai and accused her of running away when she arrived still drenched in ink. When confronted with this, he accused the students of having a grudge against Kawai, even going as far as to suggest that she did it herself to gain sympathy. However, after all was said and done, he eventually admitted that it was an accident and that he spilled the ink on her. If Kawai were to announce that she had reformed thanks to "her loving teachers guidance," he would only publicly state that this was due to his influence.
