In the narrative, Meguru Hoshihara is one of the prominent characters. Being childhood friends with Maho, they were both born at the same hospital, albeit a day apart. Although she often acts as his guardian, Meguru has secret feelings for Maho that make her uncomfortable when the topic or anything related to it is discussed. Initially, Meguru did not aspire to become an astronaut; instead, her dream was to win a gold medal in volleyball at the Olympics. Additionally, she played a role in motivating Maho to achieve his goals.
