Suzume befriends her classmate who initially comes across as reserved and distant. However, she discovers that he becomes extremely shy when girls make physical contact and blushes profusely. Despite this, Suzume manages to blackmail him into becoming her first friend by threatening to reveal his secret. Although frustrated and annoyed, the classmate agrees and eventually makes his first female friend. Due to having no sisters or female family members, he finds it challenging to communicate with girls. However, Suzumes influence helps him become more comfortable around them. Yuyuka develops feelings for the classmate while Mamura, who is usually quiet and uninterested in her surroundings, begins to take notice of Suzume's behavior.
