Yukichi's friend and Suzume's teacher. He gave her the nickname "Chun-Chun." Although he is a bit of an oddball in his appearance as a cheerful teenager, outside of his profession as a teacher, his hair is messy, glasses are big, clothes are casual, and speech mannerisms are more suited to that of a teen. He retains some of his nature while teaching but discards anything unprofessional, claiming he knows the line between work and personal life. However, this line becomes blurred when spending time with Suzume.
