Shes decided to save the talenteds. Her mind reading ability is a lie and shes talentless. Shes using deductions to fake her ability. She has been sent to the island in order to dispose of the talented. It is later revealed Tsuruoka killed her parents, meaning she had been manipulated into killing the talenteds.
