A man who is under the protection of Duc dOrleans, is a skilled swordsman, but has a stout build and long beard. He travels to France by posing as a fur trader. When he encounters DEon following him, he asks if she's related to his family, then dismisses her question because she looks just like someone else. Despite being involved in a plot to assassinate the Russian Empress, he appears to mourn her death and genuinely wants to help his country.
