Forsyth was born into an academic family where his father had made significant contributions. As a child, he initially considered following in his father's footsteps and pursuing academia. However, after growing up and studying diligently, he decided to take a different path and join a local lord's army with the goal of becoming a knight. Eventually, Forsyth volunteered for the Deliverance, which led Python to also join the army.
