The main character in the story is a high school student named Kanade. She has a guardian spirit that resembles Tenkuu's, which is a ninja called Jinrai. Despite being popular since middle school and having many admirers, no boy has ever confessed their feelings to her due to Jinrais mysterious influence. Aside from being pretty, Kanade is also clumsy. She was taught Japanese archery by her grandfather, who is an instructor in Kyudo.
