The father of Basil and Lavitz had an acquaintance who was a knight, known to them through their fathers' friendship. This knight fought alongside Feyrbrand against Dart and the group as the Wind Dragoon in the battle. Despite dying during the conflict, he passed on his Dragoon Spirit to Lavitz.
