Gaius is Ajur's first king, who ruled from 2283 to an unknown year. Along with Rowen, his Prime Minister, he established diplomatic relations between Ra Shugall, A Jule, and Elenpios. While in public, he gathered information by disguising himself among the people. Despite appearing cold-hearted through his words and demeanor, Gaius was a passionate king who deeply believed in protecting the weak. He wielded a katana as his weapon of choice. Gaius's army successfully captured Khan Baliq in Trames 2283, despite its strong natural defenses. Afterward, he proclaimed himself king of Ajur and defeated Merad in the Battle of Arcando. Although Taurus was dismantled after Gaius became king, many of its members received high ranks in the new Ajuri army. Gaius introduced numerous reforms during his reign, including banning killing in the coliseum. As a result, the big tribes lost their power and Ajur was united under him. While Merad ruled as a tyrant, Gaius cared about his people and listened to their demands. He often met with them in his castle and would go out to see important matters for himself, making him a beloved and respected ruler of his country.
