Yamma led Team Sledge Mamma and was known for being a skilled and intimidating pilot. Despite his rough exterior, he had formidable fighting skills, including knife fighting. However, he harbored a dislike towards Takeshi due to their similarities with Cunningham. As the oldest pilot in the IG-1, Yamma was second only to Andrei during his brief return while Amy was injured. Unfortunately, after losing to Team White Snow, he was removed from the team. In the original microseries, Yamma was an African-American character.
