Tomari is Hazumu's childhood friend who has been by his side through thick and thin. She is known for being a tomboy, with little interest in traditionally feminine things like clothing or shopping. Her friends often comment on how masculine she appears, which can make her angry. Despite this, Tomari is an active member of the Track and Field Club and enjoys physical activities. Before Hazumu's transformation, Tomari showed some latent interest in him but was just as shocked as everyone else when he became a girl. She has always been supportive of Hazumu and defended him whenever he felt down. Although Hazumu has always appreciated her support, there were times when Tomari seemed jealous that he spent more time with Yasuna after his sex change. Eventually, it appears that Tomari developed romantic feelings for the new Hazumu.
