Daewon Media is a South Korean enterprise that focuses on character and animation-related industries. Established in 1973, it has subsidiaries such as Daiwon C.I., Haksan Publishing, and Daewon Broadcasting. These subsidiaries are involved in various aspects of the animation industry, including comic publishing, animation production, video gaming, character licensing, TV animation broadcasting, and import/export of animation content. The current leaders of the company are Wook Jung, who serves as Chair and Co-CEO, and Hyeon-dong Ahn, who is both President and Co-CEO.
