Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures Inc., formerly known as Showgate Inc., is a Japanese entertainment company that is owned by Hakuhodo DY Holdings. This company specializes in acquiring foreign films and dramas for distribution in Japan, producing anime and movies, and engaging in other entertainment-related activities. It was originally founded as Amuse Video by Amuse Entertainment before being renamed Amuse Pictures and later becoming a subsidiary of Toshiba Entertainment. Eventually, it became Showgate and is now known as Hakuhodo DY Music & Pictures as part of its parent company, Hakuhodo DY Media Partners.
