Nippon Animation  

Nippon Animation is a Japanese studio that produces anime series based on Western literature works such as Anne of Green Gables and Tom Sawyer. Its headquarters are in Tokyo with offices in Ginza and production facilities in Tama City. Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata, founders of Studio Ghibli, directed episodes in their World Masterpiece Theater series.
