Kadokawa Publishing Co., Ltd., now known as Kadokawa Shoten, is a Japanese publishing company that is part of the larger Kadokawa Future Publishing group. It is located in Tokyo and focuses on publishing manga, light novels, magazines such as Monthly Asuka and Monthly Shōnen Ace, as well as entertainment magazines like Newtype. Over time, Kadokawa has diversified into various sectors including video games through its subsidiary Kadokawa Games and film production through its subsidiary Kadokawa Pictures.
