Solo Camping For Two Anime's Video Reveals More Cast, July 10 TV Premiere

Yuna Nemoto, Saya Aizawa join cast

On Sunday at Anime Japan 2025, the Solo Camping for Two manga by Yūdai Debata was presented as an anime adaptation through a new promotional video. This video included additional cast members and announced the July 10 release date for the anime.

Saya Aizawa as Sayo Ozora

The anime will air on three different channels at different times: Tokyo MX on July 10th, BS Asahi and Nagasaki Culture Telecasting Corporation on July 11th, and Yomiuri TV on July 15th.

Gen Kinokura and Shizuku Kusano are portrayed by Daiki Hamano and Mizuki Niizaki respectively. Yōhei Azakami provides the voice for Gen's friend Akihito Takigawa.

Synergy SP is directing the anime for Jun Hatori of Taisho Otome Fairy Tale and Too Cute Crisis fame. Meanwhile, Aya Satsuki from A Girl & Her Guard Dog and Too Cute Crisis is in charge of overseeing the series scripts and co-writing them with Mitsuho Seta and Ōka Tanisaki from Demon Lord, Retry! Lastly, Tomomi Shimazaki of Elegant Yokai Apartment Life and Mr. Villain's Day Off is designing the characters for this upcoming anime series.

Hiroyuki Hasegawa is responsible for creating the visual elements in the background, while Haruko Seto focuses on color correction. Hiroki Tsubouchi oversees photography composition, Taiki Yamaki manages sound design, and Shōta Kowashi (Pui Pui Molcar, Snack Basue, Under Ninja) composes the music for the project.

Gen Kinokura is a 34-year-old solitary camper who enjoys spending time alone while camping. During his camping trip, he meets Shizuku Kusano, who is new to camping. Despite their initial differences in experience, they end up camping together.

The manga "Debata" is being serialized in Kodansha's "Morning" magazine, with 3 million copies of its first 19 volumes having been published already. Additionally, there is already a live-action series adaptation of the manga that premiered on January 9th.
