An endurance doctor from a medical comedy webtoon is getting a live-action adaptation.
The show portrays a physician facing challenges on a distant isle.
According to OSEN, a live-action adaptation of Jonbuh Doctor webtoon is being developed by Kim Tae-pung.
Actor Jaewook Lee is set to portray Ji-ui Do, a plastic surgeon facing challenges while living on an island in his debut medical role. Myung-woo Lee is directing this series, which is based on a Kakao Webtoon of the same name.
Dr. Kim is a plastic surgeon who finds himself working as a public health doctor on Pyeondongdo Island for one year. Despite its challenging conditions, including difficult patients and personal struggles, he perseveres through it all.
The webtoon isn't accessible in English.
