Reimagined Pac-Man Game Shadow Labyrinth's Trailer Reveals July 18 Release

On Thursday, during the Nintendo Direct live broadcast, Bandai Namco Entertainment released a fresh trailer for Shadow Labyrinth, which is a revamped version of their Pac-Man game. The video showcases gameplay and introduces mech GAIA, which will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC via Steam on July 18th.
Bandai Namco Entertainment describes the game:
As Swordsman No. 8, awoken by a floating yellow orb, PUCK, on a mysterious planet amidst relics of wars past, you are chosen to become the instrument of its will. To survive you will discover many secrets, consume your enemies, and grow from prey to the apex predator as you embrace your true purpose.
The Digital Deluxe Edition of the game will come with an artbook and soundtrack as extras.
Last December, the creative team behind LOVE, DEATH + ROBOTS released an episode of their adult-animated anthology series called "The Secret Level". This episode was inspired by the Shadow Labyrinth version of Pac-Man and offered a unique take on this classic game.
In 1980, Bandai Namco released their first arcade game in the Pac-Man series. This led to the creation of the Pac-World anime series in 2013.
