From Bureaucrat to Villainess Anime Reveals English Dub Cast
James Belcher, Rachael Messer star in dub on Wednesday
On Friday, HIDIVE announced the English voice actors who will be lending their talents to the TV anime version of Michiro Ueyama's manga series From Bureaucrat to Villainess: Dad's Been Reincarnated! (Akuyaku Reijō Tensei Oji-san).
The dub cast includes:

- Joanne Bonasso as Mitsuko
- Brianna Roberts as Narrator
- James Marler as Pierre
- John Swasey as Principal
- Alan Brincks as Richard
- Carolyn Medrano as Sirius
- Annie Wild as Spica
- Andrew Love as Tsucchii
- Ellen Evans as Violet
- Brandon Hearnsberger as Virgile
- Joe Daniels as Walz, Young Kenzaburo
Shannon D. Reed is leading the dubbing process, while David Lascoe is responsible for audio engineering. Ian Fagen is in charge of translation, and Marta Bechtol and Shannon D. Reed are working on the ADR script. Brent Marshall is handling the mixing stage.
The dub will begin streaming on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. EDT.
The anime started broadcasting on MBS and TBS along with their 28 affiliates during Super Animeism TURBO on January 9th. HIDIVE is currently streaming it as it airs.
Tetsuya Takeuchi, who was unable to achieve his dream of becoming a hero, reluctantly decided to take on a job as chief animation director at Ajia-do for Yuri Seijin Naoko-san's anime series. Shingo Irie, who has previously written scripts for Golden Kamuy and Log Horizon, is currently overseeing the series scripts. Haruka Matsunae is responsible for character design in Ascendance of a Bookworm while Yuki Miyamoto is in charge of designing monsters for the same series. Natsumi Tabuchi, Misaki Tsuchida, Tsugumi Tanaka, Reiko Abe, and Kaho Sawada are the music composers for the anime series.
Cider Girl is performing the opening theme song "Choose!!!"
Grace Auvergne is a young woman who has been reincarnated into a fantasy world after being involved in a traffic accident in her previous life as a public servant named Kenzaburō Tondabayashi. She is now attending an academy in this new world.
In March 2020, Shonengahosha published the manga for Ueyama in their Monthly Youngking Ours GH magazine.
