3 new visuals also unveiled




On Friday, the official website of the movie adaptation of the popular animal-shaped butter biscuit brand, Tabekko Dōbutsu, released a new clip featuring Akari Takaishi portraying her character Pegasus singing. Additionally, three new visuals were posted on the site.

On May 1st in Japan, the movie will be released in various cinemas including Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo.

The film will star:

- Tomokazu Seki as Gotchan
- Hōchū Ōtsuka as King Gotton
- Akio Ōtsuka as Prof. Macaron
- Liliana Ōno as Pero


Hitoshi Takekiyo ( After School Midnighters , FLCL: Grunge ) is directing the film at Marza Animation Planet , and Tetsuhiro Ikeda ( FLCL: Grunge , Inzai Aru Aru Monogatari ) is writing the script. Gin Hashiba ( Magical Destroyers ) is composing the music at TBS TV. Chikako Yokota is the sound director at Glovision . Riko Koarai is the creative producer, Masato Ui is the animation producer, Yōsuke Sakai is the CG supervisor, Kiyoaki Kamei is the art director, and Hiroki Takahashi is the line producer. Travis Japan performs the film's theme song "Would You Like One?"

Kotaro Sudo is in charge of creating and distributing the movie. TBS TV and The Klockworx Co., Ltd are involved in spreading it.

These Tabekko Dōbutsu biscuits are available for purchase globally in more than twenty countries or territories. They have been on sale since 1978. These treats are designed to look like animals and come labeled with their corresponding English names.
