Anime adaptation of Miyuki Nakayama's manga series "Shota x Oni" has been announced.

On Saturday, it was announced that the anime adaptation of Miyuki Nakayama's popular boys-love manga series, Shota x Oni (also known as Shota Oni), will be based on its sixth compiled book volume.
The story is about an elementary school boy Tsubaki and his childhood friend Yū, who is in high school.
In September 2021, Nakayama (Blend S) introduced their new manga series on the Square Enix website for their "Gangan BLiss" label, which focuses on boys-love genres. This series is also available for reading on other platforms such as Manga UP!, ebookjapan, LINE Manga, and Kindle Store.
In 2022, Chil-Chil's 13th annual BL Awards recognized the manga as the best in its category for newcomers in the boys-love genre.
