Sony YAY! is airing both "Shin Chan Hot Spring Battle" and "The Adult Empire Strikes Back" anime films in India.
Films air as part of channel's "Shin-chan Summer Movie Madness" block
On May 10th at 11:00 am IST, Sony YAY! will start streaming a promo video about their upcoming Shin-chan Hot Spring Battle ( Crayon Shin-chan: Bakuhatsu! Onsen Wakuwaku Daikessen ) anime film. Additionally, Shin-chan The Adult Empire Strikes Back ( Crayon Shin-chan: Arashi o Yobu Mōretsu! Otona Teikoku no Gyakushū ) anime film will be shown on May 11th at 11:00 am IST as part of their " Shin-chan Summer Movie Madness" block.
The seventh film in the Crayon Shin-chan series, titled "Shin-chan Hot Spring Battle," was released in April 1999. Meanwhile, "Shin-chan The Adult Empire Strikes Back," which is the ninth film in the series, premiered in April 2001.
On April 19th at PVR Cinemas in Inorbit Mall in Mumbai, India, the 31st 2D animated film of the Crayon Shin-chan franchise was premiered. This movie was released in India on Friday and is currently being shown in Japanese with English subtitles as well as in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Its Japanese release date was August 9th.
The upcoming anime movie in the Crayon Shin-chan series, titled "Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Chō Karei! Shakunetsu no Kasukabe Dancers," will be released in Japan on August 8th. This film marks the first dance entertainment movie in the series and also the first film set in India.
