Manga launched in 2017, inspired TV anime in January 2024
On Thursday, it was announced that Forbidden Shibukawa's Snack Basue manga will end in the next issue of Weekly Young Jump magazine, which is scheduled for May 29th.
The gag comedy manga centers on a bar in Sapporo's North 24th neighborhood, five stations away from the Susukino business district. There, the bar's proprietor, junior proprietor, odd regular customers, and its share of walk-ins recount their strange lives.
In 2017, the manga started appearing in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump publication. On May 19th, they released the 17th volume of the compiled books.
In January 2024, an anime adaptation of a manga was released on TV. Crunchyroll made it available for streaming online as it was being broadcasted in Japan.
