Yellow Tanabe's Kai-hen Wizards Manga Goes on Hiatus Until Fall
Manga recently returned on April 9 from previous January hiatus
On Wednesday, it was announced that Kai-hen Wizards ( Kaihen no Mahōtsukai ), a manga series by Yellow Tanabe, will take a hiatus starting from the next issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine on June 25. It is expected to return this fall.
The manga recently returned on April 9 from its January 15 hiatus .
On September 11th, Tanabe started the manga series in Weekly Shonen Sunday. On May 16th, Shogakukan published the second volume of the manga compilation. Viz released the English version of the manga through simulpub, with a description of the story provided by them.

In 2003, Tanabe started publishing the Kekkaishi manga in Weekly Shonen Sunday. After eight years of publication, it ended in 2011. This manga inspired an anime series that ran from 2006 to 2008. Viz Media released this anime as a set of four DVDs in 2011. Later on, Discotek Media released this anime on Blu-ray Disc in June 2022.
In July 2013, Tanabe started publishing the Birdmen manga series in Weekly Shonen Sunday. He stopped publishing it in February 2020.
