Hideaki Yoshikawa's Kokuen no Ō Zelk Manga Ends With 2nd Volume
Manga launched on February 26
According to retailers, Kokuen no Ō Zelk ( Zelk the Lord of Dark Flame ) manga is being listed as its final volume in its second compiled book form.
The story revolves around a young man named Natsuki, accompanied by his older neighbor Nanaka, who visits a technology park. Suddenly, the sky splits open and a fiery ball falls on him, causing him to lose consciousness. When he wakes up five years later, he finds himself in a world destroyed by monsters. Moreover, he discovers that he has gained the ability to summon dark flames. With this newfound power, he embarks on a quest to restore peace in the world.
On February 26th, Yoshikawa released his new manga series on Square Enix's online platform, Manga UP! The first volume of this series is set to be released on July 7th.
In March 2018, Yoshikawa started adapting the light novel series Dungeon Builder: The Demon King's Labyrinth is a Modern City! by Rui Tsukiyo on Overlap's Comic Gardo website. On February 25th, it ended with its 12th volume. Seven Seas Entertainment acquired the rights for the English release of this manga series.
