On Sunday, it was announced that Lozareena will sing the theme song "Where you come from" for the new anime film of Penguin Box 's Odekake Kozame (Little Shark's Outings) manga, which is called Film Little Shark's Outings: The City's Friend. Additionally, a second trailer was released, along with new cast members and a new visual.
The film at ENGI is being directed by Chihiro Kumano, who is also known as Chuzenji-sensei in "The Mononoke Lecture Logs." Hiroaki Nagashima is writing the script for this film, which is based on "Odekake Kozame" anime series. Ayumi Takeuchi is designing the characters for this film, while Kisuke Koizumi is in charge of sound production. Dugout is responsible for sound production in this film. Yoshiaki Fujisawa is composing the music for this film, which is being produced by Kadokawa and distributed by Kadokawa Animation.
The anime film centers on the titular character Kozame-chan's trip to the city, when she sees a glittering poster of the city in front of the Yaocho's train station. Dazed by a shark-shaped cloud, Kozame-chan boards the train and heads to the bright, noisy, crowded city, and starts a big adventure.
In June 2021, Penguin Box introduced the manga series on their platform, which was previously known as Twitter. Meanwhile, the sixth volume of the compiled books was released in Japan on December 24th. This manga depicts the daily life of a young shark with a sense of nostalgia.
In August 2023, the first anime version of the manga was released on YouTube. This was followed by its final episode streaming in May 2024. Additionally, the anime was broadcast on television. Hanazawa composed and sang the theme song "Yorimichi" (Detour) for the series.
