Meg McClain, Sara Ragsdale, Nia Celeste, return for English dub on Wednesday
On Tuesday, Crunchyroll announced the English voice actors who will be part of the second season of Kenkyo na Circle 's anime adaptation of Tensei Shitara Dainana Ōji Datta no de, Kimamani Majutsu o Kiwamemasu light novel series. Additionally, they set July 23 as the release date for this season.
The English dub cast (which features returning members) includes:
- Meg McClain as Lloyd
- Sara Ragsdale as Grim
- Nia Celeste as Ren
- Reagan Murdock as Jihriel
- Tyson Rinehart as Galilea
- Charles Nguyen as Babylon
- Brianna Roberts as Talia
- Whitney Rodgers as Escher
The individuals responsible for the dubbing process are as follows: Lee George will oversee the direction, Zach Bolton will handle production, and Clayton Browning will adapt the script. Gino Palencia will act as the mixer, while Derric Benavides will serve as the engineer.
The second season of the show began broadcasting on TV Tokyo on July 9th at midnight JST, which means it technically started on July 10th when it was shown on other networks as well.
The anime's first season cast and staff are returning for the second season.
In Japan, the anime was broadcast on TV Tokyo and BS NTV starting from April 2024. Crunchyroll also made it available for streaming as it was being shown on television.
The anime "The Girl in Twilight" was directed by Jin Tamamura of Tsumugi Akita Anime Lab. R.O.N from STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION composed its music. Naoki Tozuka of Meiji Gekken: 1874 handled the scriptwriting, series composition, and art management. Yuuichi Abe of Dimension High School was the action director. Mai Ono of Yo-kai Watch: The Movie worked as the color key artist. Yūki Yano was the compositing director of photography for this project. Ryō Tanaka of Seitokai Yakuindomo served as the sound director for "The Girl in Twilight," which was produced by Ai Addiction.
Kaede Higuchi performs the opening theme song "CALLING†."
In 2020, Kenkyo na Circle 's novels were adapted into a manga by Yōsuke Kokuzawa and Meru. This was published in Kodansha 's Magazine Pocket app. On May 9, Kodansha released the 19th compiled book volume of this manga.
