Game launches for Switch 2, Switch, PS5, PS4, PC
On Thursday, NIS America released a video called "Unprecedented Mission" for The Legend of Heroes : Trails beyond the Horizon (The Legend of Heroes : Kai no Kiseki -Farewell, O Zemuria- ). This video provides information about the game launch date, which is January 15th, 2026. It will be available for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
NIS America initially planned to launch the game in autumn, but postponed its release together with the unveiling of the Switch 2 edition.
The company describes the story:
Van Arkride and the members of Arkride Solutions are back, and this time the future of the entire Zemurian continent is at stake! The people of Zemuria await the launch of humanity's first foray into space with bated breath. A sudden invitation from Marduk to cooperate in a high-tech training exercise sets Van, Ashen Chevalier Rean Schwarzer, and Father Kevin Graham on a collision course with the secrets at the very core of Zemuria.
Even though their journeys might take different directions, the fundamental inquiry that stays constant is: What is there beyond the horizon?
The game will have a limited edition release that comes with various items such as an art book, steelbook, mini soundtrack, and "Grim Timekeeper" acrylic clock. It will be available in both English and Japanese audio versions. Additionally, there will be a special limited edition plushie bundle that features plushies of Van, Agnes, and Elaine.
In September 2024, the game was released in Japan on
Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. Additionally, it was made available on PC through Steam in Asia on January 22.
In honor of its 20th year, the game celebrates the history of the Trails series. Zemuria, introduced in
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky in 2004, undergoes a significant transformation.
On February 14th, NIS America made available for purchase on Switch, PS5, PS4, PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG their latest game titled "The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II -CRIMSON SiN-". This game is part of "The Legend of Heroes" series.
