Hanai Warugi's Uchi no Ko wa Mahō Shōjo ni Naranai Manga Ends
Manga about young man with magical girl older sister launched in August 2023
On Wednesday, the last chapter of Hanai Warugi and Anno Nanakamado 's Uchi no Ko wa Mahō Shōjo ni Naranai ( My sister will not become a magical girl. ) manga was published in the September issue of Shonengahosha 's Young King Ours magazine.
The manga's story centers on Akuto and his magical girl older sister Shiny, who fights a mysterious monster called "Acrylamide" that threatens the human world, after a meteorite crash. Akuto supports his sister's efforts as a magical girl, but then she commits suicide after defeating an Acrylamide. Akuto goes back in time before his sister becomes a magical girl and tries to stop her from committing suicide.
The manga launched ( link ) In August 2023, Young King Ours will be released as a manga series. The first compiled book volume will be published by Shonengahosha in July 2024. The second volume and the final volume will both be released on August 29.
In February of 2022, Warugi and Shinobu Shinotsuki released their manga series titled "Common-Sense Monster" on Kadokawa's ComicWalker website. The series lasted until February 24th. Kadokawa published the final volume of the manga on May 12th. Yen Press has acquired the rights to release the manga in English, with the first volume scheduled for release on August 26th.
In June 2024, the manga "Bodokan!" by Warugi and Shōichi Taguchi was released on Kadokawa 's KadoComi manga service. It was about women and prisoners who were unable to communicate with each other in prison. ( link ) on June 19. Kadokawa will publish the manga's third volume on September 5.
