Hero Without a Class TV Anime Reveals 4 More Cast Members
Mai Nakahara, Yuka Iguchi, more join cast for October anime
On Friday, it was announced on the official website of the TV anime adaptation of the Hero Without a Class novel series by Shichio Kuzu and Yumehito Ueda that four new actors have been added to the cast.
The new cast all play members of Arel's family:
Mai Nakahara as Farah, Arel's mother 
Shinya Takahashi as Leon, Arel's father 
Carin Isobe as Astea, Arel's older sister 
Yuka Iguchi as Mila, Arel's younger sister 
In October, the anime will be released both on TV and through D Anime Store in Japan. HIDIVE will simultaneously broadcast the series as it is shown on TV and also host the world premiere of the first episode at Anime NYC from August 21-24 in New York City.
The anime stars:
- Kenshō Ono as Arel
- Saori Hayami as Laina
- Sumire Uesaka as Lilia
- Rumi Ōkubo as Kufa
The anime "The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army" is being directed by Kaoru Yabana of Studio A-Cat. Chabo Higurashi is supervising and writing the scripts for this series. Hiroto Morishita is in charge of the sound direction, while Kent Asahina is composing the music.
Kaya sings the introductory tune "Reincarnation" while Utahime Dream All Stars perform the concluding melody "Kiseki Nanka Iranai" (I Don't Need Something Like a Miracle).
One Peace Books is releasing the novels' manga adaptation in English, and it describes the story:
In a world where everyone receives a Class and Skills at the age of ten, and where such revelations have a huge impact on one's life, Arel, the son of Sword Princess Farah and Archmage Leon, learns that he has… no class at all!

In November 2017, the new book collection was introduced on the website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. Earth Star Entertainment started publishing these books in July 2018. They released their fourth volume in June 2019.
In November 2018, Akio Nanae released a manga version of his work on Comic Earth Star. By March 12th of that year, the ninth volume of this manga had been released. One Peace Books started publishing this manga in October 2024.
