One Piece: Heroines Novels Get Anime
Writer Jun Esaka, artist Sayaka Suwa launched novels about One Piece series heroines in 2019
On Sunday during the One Piece Day event and live stream, it was announced that the One Piece novel HEROINES by writers Jun Esaka and Sayaka Suwa will be adapted into an anime series. Additionally, a visual was unveiled.
The first novel volume of "Vagabond" was published by Viz Media on April 22nd. According to Viz Media, this initial release contains the beginning of Miyamoto Musashi's journey as he travels across Japan seeking enlightenment.

In 2019, the Heroines novel series began as serializations in One Piece Magazine. Shueisha released the first compiled novel in Japan in June 2021. The second volume, titled "One Piece novel HEROINES [Colorful]," followed in March 2024 in Japan, while Viz Media published it on July 22 outside Japan.
