Jukebox debuts on August 23
On Saturday, it was revealed on X (previously known as Twitter) that Kodansha's Magazine Pocket service will launch a new series titled Jukebox starting August 23rd.
Soborou 's Why the hell are you here, Teacher!? ( Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!? ) manga will be released digitally in English by BookWalker Global in partnership with Kodansha USA Publishing.
In 2016, Soborou started publishing the erotic romantic comedy manga under the title "Golden Times". Prior to that, it was released as one-shots under "Golden Times". Due to the author's sudden illness, it went on hiatus from August 2020 until August 2024. After that, it ended on October 31st.
In 2019, a TV anime adaptation of a popular manga series was released, with its first episode airing in April. Additionally, an OVA episode was released in December of the same year. Sentai Filmworks acquired the rights to distribute the anime and made it available on HIDIVE and Crunchyroll for streaming. Sentai Filmworks also provided English dubbing for the series and released it on Blu-ray/DVD. ( link ) the anime uncensored on home video.
In August 2022, the manga "Love and Peace" by writer Shigemitsu Harada and artist Soborou was launched in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine. The manga ended in October 2023 after three compiled book volumes were published by Kodansha in December 2023.
